Planet VPN Privacy Policy — Zero Logs, Full Transparency

Your privacy is the foundation of Planet VPN. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and why.

Last updated: January 2026

1. Our Core Commitment — Zero Logs

Planet VPN operates a strict zero-logs policy. We do not record, store or share: your browsing history, DNS queries, IP addresses assigned to you during a VPN session, connection timestamps, session duration, bandwidth usage, or any traffic metadata. This commitment is verifiable — our servers run on RAM-only infrastructure that physically cannot retain data after a session ends.

2. Information We Collect

To provide the service, we collect only the minimum necessary data:

3. Information We Never Collect

We never collect: your real IP address, the VPN IP assigned to you, websites visited, files downloaded, messages sent, connection logs, or any content of your internet traffic. There is no exception to this rule.

4. Jurisdiction

Planet VPN is operated by FREE VPN PLANET S.R.L., incorporated in Romania (EU). Romania is outside the Five Eyes, Nine Eyes, and Fourteen Eyes intelligence-sharing alliances. Romanian law does not require VPN providers to log user activity. Even if compelled by a court order, we have no data to disclose.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share anonymised aggregate data with analytics partners to improve the service. We will resist any government request for user data and will publish a transparency report if legally permitted to do so.

6. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required to operate the site (e.g. session tokens, language preference). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that identify individual visitors.

7. Children's Privacy

Planet VPN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU-incorporated company, Planet VPN respects your GDPR rights: the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data; the right to object to processing; and the right to withdraw consent. Contact us at any time to exercise these rights.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
